Improvising with voice,
I left the mic open.
The murmur emerged.
Maybe one day it will be heard.
I left the mic open.
The murmur emerged.
Maybe one day it will be heard.
He slowed down his respiration.
A clock ticked noisily in the background.
Out of the silence.
Grew a murmur.
He paused...to listen.
The tick of the clock was deafening.
He tuned out.
Yes there it was:
insistant
resistant
persistant
a murmur.
Who was singing?
He couldn't make out.
His thoughts were drowned out by a clock ticking.
Tick.
Tick.
Tick.
He tuned out.
There it was again:
insistant
resistant
persistant
a murmur.
Who was singing?
He strained his ears to listen.
He couldn't make it out.
He gulped for breath.
Now it was clear.
The murmur.
The murmur.
The murmur.
Was them...
The murmur was...
The murmur was...
An experiment in emergent sound.
Emergent murmurings;
ReplyDeleteMany voices echoing
in this kaleidoscope of sounds,
we peek into the scope
in order to listen to
the voices;
Understanding comes later.

Trying writing via voice improvisation.
DeleteStrange change of flow.
Rhythm different.
Or maybe it is just that I am more used to writing speechless.
Will try again to see what happens.
Lovely. Thanks, listening to it slowed down my breathing too:)
